Rome

First, thanks to everyone for their warm wishes on Holly's site after the BIG NEWS. Yes, it took me long enough. But in the end what matters is that I proposed to the perfect girl in the perfect place at the perfect time.

Now, about the trip. I'll post the photos from England a bit later. It took me long enough to get through the ones from Rome. I'm not kidding when I say I took over 1400 photos in the 9 days we were away! There were lots of duplicates, lots of experiments, and I'm definitely not going to overwhelm you with all of them. Here are some of my favorites from Rome.

In lieu of captions, I've broken them up by location, and most of them are pretty self-explanatory. Enjoy!

Pantheon

Superb set of images! Not just the architecture, but the girl with the bubbles is wonderful too.

I'm always amazed by how a good photographer can make a place you've seen in photos a million times before look new. Nice work.

Gorgeous photographs, they really make me want to go back to Rome! I love the pictures in the "Everywhere Else" section, especially of just the alleys and apartments and little shops. That's how I remember Rome.

Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful pictures. I'm glad so see someone else walks down the streets looking up through a lens!
