One of the Most Perfect Places on the Planet
Took this late last year---actually, I have a lot from this shoot that turned out well, which I'll probably end up posting here sometime in the future. I'm posting this one in particular because I set it as my desktop background when I got my SECOND CINEMA DISPLAY (that's right!! and I already can't imagine my life without it) a few weeks ago and have been staring at it ever since.
If this spot wasn't a nude beach where the guy to girl ratio is about 10 to 0, I might very well spend every free minute I had here as the view is one of the most spectacular in the city. But since that is the case... i guess the photo on my desktop (on my... did I mention??? 2nd cinema display!!!!) will have to do.
Every picture you post like this makes me fall even more in love with San Francisco.
Every picture you post like this makes me just a little more green-eyed.
Beautiful shot!
Whenever I go to this beach, I have to squint my eyes very carefully for selective vision. Background with bridge and waves: clear! Foreground with elderly pantsless men: blur, blur! PLEASE BLUR.
I love the timelessness of the photo- there's something about bridges in a certain slant of light that make a scene seem completely plucked out of time. And the waves, both on the beach and the crashing one that looks like a sea anemone on the rock, are captured spectacularly.
What a great shot! It makes me a little sad that I did not see the bridge when I was in SF in July...
